NEW SHOSHIN RYU of NC APPAREL!
While we were creating our new home, Shoshin Ryu was getting together our new standard logo. Its design is taken from a tsuba or “hand guard” on a sword with the truthful heart path kanji in the middle, and “Shoshin Ryu Martial Arts” underneath.
It’s pretty snazzy if I do say so myself. And what is very nice about this is that we will now have a recognizable design/logo on our shirts, apparel and media that will unify us and help people who are looking into starting a Martial Art understand that we are a large unified and coherent group.
We’ve taken some additional steps here at the NC Dojo to get these items vectored, designed and scheduled with a local printer so that our students locally AND Nationally have a chance to wear what they practice. Or….Just show off some baddass Jujutsuwear!
The T-shirts, pictured here have our school Kanji “Cry in the Dojo, Laugh on the Battlefield” on the front left chest, the National standard logo on the back and our local website address on the bottom. picture here:
The next thing we’ve had done is make a template for both the national standard logo AND our Truthful Heart Path Kanji to be embroidered on any piece of clothing, bag, or Uniform that our students and/or friends might like. Here is a pic of our Kanji and the Standard logo:

We’ve got several of our students including myself already wearing Gi with the Kanji embroidered on the left chest as is tradition. I also took a pair of board shorts and had them embroidered with the standard logo here:

Shirts will come in Black, Navy Blue, Male, Female, Kids sizes M/F as well and for the adults, you may choose cap sleeve! I for one am buying 1 Blue, 1 Black, and 1 cap sleeved black.
